Interested participants may apply who are looking to sharpen their cause-selling fundraising skills and prepare for the social impact pitch competition in May 2021 at the Military Influencer Conference

Ideal candidates have 0-5 years of fundraising experience. Not limited by job titles - all VSO employees are encouraged to apply!

- Currently, work at a veteran-serving nonprofit
- Have 0-5 years of fundraising experience
- Must be available and commit to the entire course

Course Overview

 

The Online Military-Connected Fundraising Academy Accelerate is a fully online fundraising certificate program that teaches emerging fundraisers (with one to five years of direct fundraising experience) how to effectively identify, qualify, cultivate, and retain donors through authentic, impactful stewardship. This course also teaches fundraising fundamentals such as Social Styles, Ethics in Fundraising, Digital Fundraising, Time Management, Philanthropy Trends, and more. Students complete the course with newfound confidence to approach and authentically engage prospects and donors, make the ask, and build long-lasting relationships.

 

Course Dates: 

Tuesdays February 2, 2021 - April 13, 2021 (3.5 hour sessions)

11:30 - 3:00 EST  (8:30 - 12:00 PST)

**Applicants must be available and commit to attending every session.**

Course Location: 

Online (Zoom) 

Cost: $400  FREE 

All accepted applicants can enroll without the cost of tuition when they purchase the textbook.

Cause Selling the Sanford Way: A Guide to Relationship-Driven Fundraising*. You may choose to purchase the hardcover edition for $80 or the eBook for $30.
