They bring decades of leadership from energy, finance, technology, law and philanthropy, and many have served in uniform themselves. Meet the people helping steer the nation's most effective closed-loop referral network for the military community.

Doug FosheeDoug Foshee
Board Chair, Houston, TX
Doug Foshee is the founder and owner of Sallyport Investments and the former chairman, president and CEO of El Paso Corporation, bringing more than 30 years of energy-industry leadership to Combined Arms. He founded and serves as a director of NextOp Vets, which helps veterans find careers through job placement, mentorship and education, and he supports veteran scholarship programs at Rice University, Baylor University, Texas State University and the Texas Business Hall of Fame.

Board Member, Houston, TX
John Johnson is a longtime leader of David Weekley Homes, where over more than three decades he helped grow the company from a respected regional builder into one of the nation's largest privately held homebuilders, spanning 19 markets and more than $3 billion in revenue. Known for a people-first approach, he built a culture where employees feel valued and empowered, and he guided the company steadily through challenges including the 2008 financial crisis.

Jesus Terrones


Jesus Terrones

Board Member, Houston, TX
Jesus Terrones is CEO of Tally Energy Services, an oilfield services company focused on North American shale, following executive roles at Weatherford, Innovex and Cameron, a Schlumberger company. He began his career as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot, serving more than seven years, and holds a systems engineering degree from West Point and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also serves on the board of the West Point Society of Greater Houston.

Bill BoyarBill Boyar
Board Member, Houston, TX
Bill Boyar is a founding shareholder of BoyarMiller, a Houston-based law firm, where he has advised clients on complex acquisitions and project financings across industries including energy, healthcare and private equity. He chaired the firm from 1990 to 2010 and remains active mentoring business leaders and lawyers. His community service spans numerous Houston institutions, including KIPP Texas Public Schools, SEARCH Homeless Services and the Houston Food Bank.

William H. AhmansonWilliam H. Ahmanson
Board Member, Los Angeles, CA
William H. Ahmanson is president of The Ahmanson Foundation, which supports the arts, education, healthcare and programs serving people experiencing homelessness across Southern California. Before leading the foundation, he spent 17 years in banking at Home Savings of America and also served a decade as a Los Angeles Police Reserve officer. His civic leadership reaches across the region's cultural life, including trustee roles at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Center Theatre Group and Loyola Marymount University.

Kim Hales

Board Member, Houston, TX
Kim Hales, senior vice president of information technology at NRG Energy, leads the company's digital transformation across IT, cybersecurity and digital development. A technologist with more than 25 years of experience, Kim specializes in cybersecurity, including critical infrastructure protection, along with strategic planning and M&A program management.

Scott OsterlingScott Osterling
Board Member, Houston, TX
Scott Osterling brings more than 20 years of leadership in growth strategy and operations, currently at Davalor and previously with the private equity firm Platinum Equity, where he drove performance across portfolio companies. Earlier in his career he held senior roles at Cameron and Schlumberger, managing billion-dollar operations and major integration projects. A West Point graduate and Harvard MBA, Scott is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a Special Forces detachment commander and reached the rank of major.

Terry BoydTerry Boyd
Board Member, Huntsville, AL
Terry Boyd is a managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he leads Department of Defense engagements in operational risk and serves clients across the Army, Navy and Office of the Secretary of Defense. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army as an aviation officer and comptroller, retiring as a lieutenant colonel, and now champions Deloitte's veteran hiring and advancement efforts. A West Point graduate with an MBA from Syracuse University, Terry chairs The Cornerstone Initiative, a Huntsville nonprofit supporting people experiencing poverty.

Jeff Hart

Jeff Hart
Board Member, Houston, TX
Jeff Hart is a senior partner at McKinsey & Company and a leader of its Global Energy and Analytics practices, helping major organizations improve operations through digital and analytics transformation. He advised the Combined Arms team on its national expansion before joining the board. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate, Jeff served 11 years as a Navy fighter pilot with more than 1,500 hours in the F-14 Tomcat and F/A-18 Hornet, and he holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Alfred Park headshotAlfred Park
Board Member, Houston, TX
Alfred Park is a vice president in Asset and Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs and a former U.S. Navy surface warfare officer who deployed to Iraq and Somalia in 2007 as navigator of the guided-missile destroyer USS Preble. He is an ambassador for the Travis Manion Foundation and serves on the boards of the Ocean Institute and, in an advisory role, Bridge Builders Houston. Alfred earned a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Southern California, where he was a Goldman Sachs MBA Fellow.
